If you would like to offer one of these webinars, please contact the Benefits Coordinator serving your region. Depending on the number of overall webinars requested or if registration numbers are low, you may be asked to combine your webinar with another local association.
Planning for Retirement
It's never too early or too late to plan for retirement, and this webinar can be beneficial for all NYSUT members -- not just those nearing or contemplating retirement. Topics covered will include retirement timing, projecting retirement income/expenses, pension options, social security, and more.
403(b) Plans - Basics to Specifics
This webinar explains the basics of how 403(b) plans work, from tax savings to investment choices and more. Detailed information will be provided on the most utilized 403(b) providers and, if applicable, the New York State Deferred 457 Compensation Plan. Specific information presented will includes relevant fees, investments options, features, and more.

Payroll Deduction -- This presentation explains to members how payroll deduction of Member Benefits-endorsed programs is implemented; the advantages, various discounts and additional benefits provided by many programs when this payment method is used; and the local association’s role in bringing this to members.
Estate Planning -- These presentations are offered through the provider of our endorsed Legal Service Plan -- the law firm of Feldman, Kramer & Monaco, P.C. -- at no charge. To be scheduled, this needs to be booked three months in advance with a minimum of 25 attendees.
